Flocculant-&-Coagulant

Flocculants (also known as polyelectrolyte), are chemicals that promote flocculation by causing colloids and other suspended particles in liquids to aggregate, forming a floc. Flocculants are used in water treatment & wastewater processes to improve the sedimentation or filterability of small particles.

Coagulants are generally cationic in nature and low molecular weight polymers. They are used primarily for the charge neutralization and to increasing the size of micro flocs to tiny flocs.
